Renowned Comedian Lucky Dear Dies After Prolonged Illness
LAHORE: Veteran comedian Lucky Dear has passed away after a long battle with illness.
The acclaimed theatre, television, and film actor had been under treatment at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, where his condition deteriorated in recent weeks.
The 60-year-old artist had been suffering from lung disease and diabetes for the past eight months. According to family sources, his health had become critical as he slipped into a coma. His kidneys, liver, and stomach had also stopped functioning.
Lucky Dear was associated with the entertainment industry for over four decades, during which he performed in hundreds of dramas and films.
Known for his unique style of comedy, he entertained countless audiences and earned a special place in Pakistan’s showbiz world.
