WASHINGTON: Pakistani diaspora in the United States plays an important role in boosting relations between the two countries and also helping in the development of their own country.
This was stated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan while talking to Pakistani social figure of Houston, Muhammad Saeed Sheikh here.
The ambassador said welfare activities of the Pakistani American community played a big role in highlighting the identity of the country.
Muhammad Saeed Sheikh is the President of Karachi Houston Sister City Association.
Sheikh on the occasion said he collected one million dollars for the flood victims of Pakistan with help of 40 other organizations and provided relief to 65,000 flood victims.
Masood Khan appreciated his efforts and said Pakistani community living in US stands with brothers and sisters of the country in every difficult time.
