Russia Declines to Attend First Board of Peace Meeting

MOSCOW: Russia has announced that it will not participate in the first meeting of the Board of Peace scheduled for February 19.

According to international media reports, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that representatives of the Kremlin have no intention of attending the upcoming session.

He added that the agenda of the Board of Peace is currently under review by Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is conducting a detailed assessment of the board’s objectives and topics.

It is worth noting that on January 22, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, representatives from 19 countries signed the charter of the Board of Peace.
