Rwanda and Congo Sign Peace Agreement Mediated by Trump

Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have signed a peace agreement under the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to international news agencies, President Trump played a key role earlier this year in facilitating reconciliation between the two neighboring African countries.

Speaking on the occasion, President Trump stated that the world would soon witness significant progress toward lasting peace between Rwanda and Congo. He said that immediate positive results would become visible as the agreement is implemented.

President Trump further added that the United States is entering into new partnerships with both countries to gain access to critical minerals and to open fresh avenues for economic cooperation that would benefit all parties involved.

The signing of this peace accord marks an important step toward stability in a region long affected by conflict.
