Saudi Parliamentary Delegation Arrives for High-Level Talks

ISLAMABAD: A parliamentary delegation from the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has arrived in Islamabad on an official visit aimed at further deepening bilateral relations between the two nations.

The delegation is led by Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh.

Upon arrival at the Parliament House, the delegation received a warm and cordial welcome from Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

In a symbolic gesture of friendship and solidarity, the Parliament House was illuminated in green lights, reflecting Pakistan’s deep respect and close ties with Saudi Arabia.

During their stay, the Saudi delegation is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

According to official sources, discussions will center on enhancing parliamentary cooperation, strengthening bilateral relations, and promoting regional peace, stability, and development.

The visit underscores the historic and time-tested bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and is expected to open new avenues of collaboration, further solidifying the strategic partnership between the two nations.
