BRITISH COLUMBIA: At least 10 people were killed and more than 25 injured in a tragic shooting incident at a school and a nearby home in a remote town in British Columbia, Canada, on Wednesday morning, according to police.
Authorities confirmed that six victims were found dead inside the school building. One injured person later died while being transported to the hospital, and two more bodies were discovered at a nearby residence. The suspected gunman was also found dead inside the school from what police described as self-inflicted injuries.
More than 25 people were injured in the attack. Two of the wounded are reported to be in critical condition and were airlifted to hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Police have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community. However, the motive behind the attack has not yet been determined, and investigations are currently underway.
