According to Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry, the Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle, injuring several people. Kuwait urged the international community to play an effective role in preventing repeated Israeli military operations on Syrian territory.
The ministry said the international community and the UN Security Council must fulfil their responsibilities in addressing what it described as repeated Israeli aggression against Syrian territory.
Israel, meanwhile, defended the strike, saying that “terrorists” had been targeted. Israeli officials said the operation was carried out in response to an immediate threat faced by Israeli forces.
The latest incident marks the second Israeli attack in Syria within a week, raising concerns that tensions in the region could escalate further.
Arab countries have repeatedly expressed concern over Israeli military operations in Syria, while Israel maintains that its actions are necessary to counter security threats.
