The administration has directed citizens to refrain from violating the restrictions, warning that strict legal action will be taken against those found breaching the order.

According to the district administration, restrictions on public gatherings are also in place under the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Act 2024.

Officials said violation of the relevant law could result in a prison sentence of up to three years.

The administration urged citizens to avoid becoming involved in any unlawful activity and called on the public to cooperate with security and law enforcement agencies.
