Security Forces Eliminate 19 Terrorists: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed 19 terrorists linked with Fitna al-Hindustan in three separate intelligence-based operations conducted over the past two days in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to ISPR, the first operation was carried out in the Mohmand district, where security forces targeted a terrorist hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, 14 terrorists were killed.

In the second operation, conducted in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, security forces eliminated four more terrorists.

The third operation was carried out in Bannu, during which one terrorist was killed.

ISPR stated that the terrorists, backed by India, were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. A cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.

The statement added that a clearance operation is still underway to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
