PANJGUR: In a major counter-terrorism operation, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South successfully neutralized 11 militants belonging to the proscribed terrorist outfit in the Gwardgo area of Panjgur district.
According to the FC spokesperson, the operation was launched by personnel of the 91 Wing following credible intelligence input regarding the presence of terrorists in the region. The action was initiated late at night, leading to a fierce gunbattle between the security forces and the militants.
During the exchange of fire, two brave FC soldiers embraced martyrdom while fighting valiantly. The timely and well-coordinated operation inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist group and foiled their potential plans of subversive activity in the region.
The spokesperson further stated that such operations will continue until the complete elimination of terrorist elements from the province. Security forces remain vigilant and committed to ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan.
