RAWALPINDI: As many as 30 terrorists have been killed in an operation by security forces conducted in the Sararooth area of South Waziristan.
According to the ISPR, the security forces carried out the operation on the basis of intelligence inputs about the presence of Khawraj in the area.
The security forces effectively targeted the hideout of Khawraj and eliminated 30 of them, said the ISPR.
It said that a clearance operation was underway to eliminate any Khawarij in the area, adding that the security forces were determined to root out the scourge of terrorism from the country.
Meanwhile President, the Prime Minister and the Minister for Interior have paid tribute to the army for killing the terrorists and said the nation stands with the security forces.
