Security Forces Kill Eight Terrorists in Lakki Marwat Operation

LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-driven operation in the Sultan Khel area of Lakki Marwat, resulting in the elimination of eight militants.

Security sources said the operation was carried out based on actionable intelligence regarding the presence of Afghan Taliban-backed militants in the area. The forces had initiated aerial and ground surveillance over Sultan Khel and Tofan Wala regions. Upon detecting militant movement, immediate action was taken, leading to the killing of 8 militants.

During the operation, security personnel recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives from the militants’ possession. According to the sources, over the past four days, security forces have eliminated 102 militants sent by the Afghan Taliban.

This recent success underscores the ongoing efforts by Pakistan’s military to neutralize terrorist threats and maintain stability in the region.
