Security Forces Kill Seven Terrorists, Army Officer Martyred

RAWALPINDI: Security forces carried out a targeted operation in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the deaths of seven militants.

During an exchange of fire, Major Subtain Haider was martyred.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was based on actionable intelligence regarding the presence of militants affiliated with the Indian-backed group Fitna-ul-Khawarij.

The killed militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. Clearance operations are ongoing.

ISPR stated that Major Subtain, a resident of Quetta, led his troops with bravery and sacrificed his life while fulfilling his duty.

The army reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating Indian-supported terrorist elements, highlighting that the sacrifices of its soldiers continue to inspire the nation.
