PESHAWAR: Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa carried out two separate operations against militants affiliated with the Khawarij extremist network, resulting in the deaths of 13 terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
In the first operation in the Bara area of Khyber District, an intelligence-based raid led to a heavy exchange of fire, killing 10 militants and destroying their hideouts. The second operation in Bannu resulted in the elimination of three more terrorists.
According to ISPR, these operations are part of the “Determination for Stability” anti-terrorism campaign.
Regional clearance operations against Khawarij militants are ongoing, highlighting the security forces’ continued commitment to eradicating externally supported terrorism from the country.
