LAHORE: Security forces have shot down an Indian drone near the outskirts of Lahore on Friday.
According to police sources, movement of an Indian drone was detected inside Pakistan’s airspace. The forces successfully targeted and brought down the drone in the Manawan area near Lahore.
Initial reports suggest that the drone was likely being used for surveillance purposes and was not carrying any explosives.
Sensitive agencies have taken custody of the drone and have launched an investigation into the incident.
