MEKKAH: A car driver have tried to enter into the Mosque Al Haram while passing barricades on Friday night through gate no. 89, as Saudi media has reported. No human loss have been reported, while the video of the incident went viral on social media.
However, security personnels in the mosque took the driver and car into custody, and launch further investigation of the incident.
Saudi national driver said to be mentally upset, though he has been handed over to public prosecution for investigation, according to spokesperson of Governer of Mekkah region.
