LAHORE: Pakistan’s senior actor Khalid Butt passed away after protracted illness in Lahore on Thursday, family sources told media.
He was suffering from the complications of kidneys and liver ailments for long. Of late, Butt used to appear in Geo TV’s drama serial Khaie. Butt started his career in the 1970s and worked in some of the famous Punjabi and Urdu films and dramas.
Due to his outstanding work, the government of Pakistan had also awarded him the Pride of Performance award.
