RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed seven terrorists linked to the Indian-sponsored group Fitna al Hindustan during two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Balochistan on June 2, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The first operation was carried out in the Mach area of Kachhi District, where troops engaged militants following confirmed intelligence reports. After a fierce exchange of fire, five terrorists were killed on the spot.
In a separate IBO in the Margand area of Kalat District, two more militants were neutralized as security forces dismantled a suspected hideout belonging to the group.
The operations led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. ISPR stated that the terrorists were involved in various acts of violence and subversion in the region.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating terrorism and underscored Pakistan’s resolve to hold perpetrators and their facilitators accountable, particularly those allegedly sponsored by foreign entities.
