Seven Pakistanis, Afghans arrested in Saudi Arabia

Police also looking for a man who made video of fighting and shared it on social media.

RIYADH: At least seven Pakustanis and Afghan nationals were arrested in the capital city of Saudi Arabia for fighting in public places.

The police in Riyadh confirmed that they have arrested seven immigrants and handed them to the prosecution for legal action.

The seven arrested persons were from Pakistan and Afghanistan and working with different firms. They started fighting at a public place creating a scene.

The police in Riyadh also said that they were searching for a man who was seen filming the fight between the two groups of immigrants. The video clip made by the person went viral on the social media.

A large number of immigrants from Pakistan and Afghanistan work in Saudi Arabia and due to strict law anyone found involved in an illegal activity can face either imprisonment or immediate deportation.
