RAWALPINDI: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Sherani District of Balochistan, targeting terrorists reportedly linked to the Indian proxy group “Fitna al Khwarij,” according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, seven terrorists were killed. The ISPR stated that the slain individuals were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered from the site.
Following the encounter, a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining threats in the area. The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and bringing all perpetrators to justice, emphasizing the nation’s resolve to counter Indian-sponsored terrorism within its borders.
