SHAREM EL-SHEIKH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again hailed former U.S. President Donald Trump as a man of peace, praising his role in saving millions of lives and urging the international community to award him the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his contributions.

Speaking at a press conference held on the sidelines of the Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Trump’s mediation efforts, particularly in defusing tensions between Pakistan and India.

He stated that the conflict between the two nuclear-armed neighbors could have escalated to catastrophic levels, but timely intervention helped avert a full-scale war.

Shehbaz Sharif declared that history will remember President Trump in golden letters.

The Prime Minister also highlighted Trump’s pivotal role in brokering the Gaza peace agreement, which many around the world had previously considered impossible.

He emphasized that the end of the Gaza war and the restoration of peace in the Middle East marked a turning point in regional stability. Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged the strength of the U.S. military, calling it the most powerful in the world, and praised its role in supporting peace initiatives.

Reaffirming his stance, Shehbaz Sharif once again formally appealed to the Nobel Committee to recognize Donald Trump’s efforts and award him the Nobel Peace Prize. He described Trump’s actions as historic steps that will shape global diplomacy for generations.
