RENALA KHURD: The SHO of Satghara Police Station, Sub-Inspector Mohammad Tariq, who was shot by a constable in Renala Khurd two days ago, has succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred when Constable Abdullah opened fire, injuring SHO Mohammad Tariq in the abdomen. He was undergoing treatment at the Teaching Hospital in Sahiwal for two days after the incident, and surgeons had successfully removed the bullet two days ago.
The late SHO Mohammad Tariq hailed from Basirpur. The incident took place two days ago within the jurisdiction of the Satghara Police Station. Constable Abdullah shot SHO Tariq while he was on patrol duty. According to Okara Police, after the shooting, Constable Abdullah fled the scene but was later arrested.
