KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said there will be no leniency for those who harass girls and women.
In light of the recent incident outside Karachi University, he expressed satisfaction with the swift action taken by the police. He also commended the police for their timely response in the case.
CM Shah said there would be no compromise on the safety and security of women, stating, “There will be no tolerance for harassers. The protection of female students in educational institutions will be ensured.”
He remarked that the law will take strict action against those who harass women. Regarding the viral video case, the arrest of the accused was praised as a commendable step.
The chief minister also acknowledged the police for their prompt response, asserting that their actions helped establish the rule of law. He appreciated the police’s swift action in ensuring the safety of citizens.
