Small Plane Crashes into Parked Aircraft at Montana Airport

MONTANA: A small single-engine plane carrying four people crashed at a Montana airport on Monday after colliding with a parked aircraft during landing.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the incident occurred at around 2 p.m. as the plane attempted to land.

Preliminary investigations suggest the pilot lost control of the aircraft, causing it to strike another plane stationed on the runway. The collision triggered a massive fire, which spread to a nearby grassy area before being extinguished.

Clipsil Fire Chief Jay Hagan said eyewitnesses reported that the plane made an emergency landing at the far end of the runway before hitting the other aircraft.

All passengers managed to exit the plane on their own. Two people sustained minor injuries and were treated at the airport.
