Smuggled Goods Worth Over Rs.2.5m Seized

QUETTA: The Customs Enforcement in Quetta has  seized smuggled goods worth more than 25 crore rupees.

According to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the operation was carried out with the support of law enforcement agencies and the district administration of Kalat.

The confiscated smuggled goods include foreign betel nuts and fabric. The FBR has estimated the value of the seized goods, including insurance and freight, at 25 crore 13 lakh rupees.

In a statement, the FBR reiterated its commitment to continue strict enforcement actions against smuggling and illegal trade activities, ensuring that such operations remain a priority in the fight against unlawful commerce.
