Smuggled Goods Worth Over Rs. 368 Million Seized

QUETTA: The Customs Enforcement in Quetta has seized smuggled goods worth an estimated 36.8 crore rupees.

According to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), these operations were carried out with the collaboration of Balochistan Police and the Frontier Corps (North) Balochistan.

Among the seized items were a range of foreign cigarette brands such as Benson & Hedges, Marlboro, and 555, which are commonly smuggled into Pakistan. Additionally, other contraband items seized include Indian Gutka, tires, betel nuts (Chalia), and cigarette paper.

An FBR spokesperson confirmed that the department is committed to continuing its strict actions against smuggling and illegal trade activities in the region.
