ABBOTTABAD: A road accident near Abbottabad claimed five lives when an over-speeding vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep ravine.
According to police, a jeep traveling from Havelian to Magri overturned due to speeding and fell into the ravine. The accident resulted in the deaths of five passengers, while five others sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the site shortly after the incident and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital. Officials confirmed that 12 passengers were on board the jeep at the time of the accident.
