According to the report, actors accused of engaging in inappropriate acts on stage or using objectionable dialogue could face disciplinary action, including possible bans.
Actress Nainan Shehzadi was issued a notice over an alleged inappropriate performance at Kamal Theatre, while Rashid Kamal received a notice over his performance at Manro Theatre.
Similarly, actress Saima Khan was issued a notice over an alleged inappropriate performance at Kamal Theatre, while Sonia Lal received a notice over her performance at Shabistan Theatre.
Zoya Ali was also issued a notice in connection with her performance at Kamal Theatre.
Sources said several drama producers and theatre administrations had also been served notices for allegedly violating provisions of the relevant law.
