Stock Market Crosses 189,000-Point Mark

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its bullish momentum on Wednesday as the benchmark KSE-100 Index crossed the historic 189,000-point level for the first time.

During early trading on the third day of the business week, strong buying pushed the index up by more than 700 points, taking it to 189,427 points. The market had closed at 188,621 points in the previous trading session.

Market analysts attributed the continued upward trend to sustained investor confidence and positive sentiment at the exchange. The index has been setting new records in recent sessions, reflecting strong participation across key sectors.
