KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange opened with a strong bullish trend, while the Rupee strengthened further against the US Dollar.
At the start of trading on Thursday, the KSE-100 index surged by 645 points, reaching a level of 162,871 points.
The market had already crossed the 162,000-point threshold in the previous session, driven by positive investor sentiment and strong trading momentum.
On the currency front, the US Dollar continued to experience a decline against the Rupee. According to the Exchange Companies Association, the dollar lost 6 paisas in the interbank market, bringing its value down to PKR 280.60.
This marks a continuation of the downward trend observed over recent trading sessions, reflecting a strengthening local currency amid improving market conditions.
