ISLAMABAD: A tragic incident has been reported from the Chaliyar area of Swat, where a young student named Farhan lost his life after allegedly being brutally tortured by teachers at a local religious seminary.
According to police sources, Farhan was subjected to severe physical punishment for remaining absent from classes. The alleged beating resulted in critical injuries, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his wounds.
An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against three individuals: Mohammad Umar, his son Ehsanullah, and another teacher Abdullah. Police have confirmed the arrest of Abdullah, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining accused.
