Suspect Arrested After Attack at Sikh Gurdwara in Canada

EDMONTON: Two people were injured in an attack at a Sikh gurdwara in Edmonton, Canada, while police have arrested the alleged attacker.

According to Canadian police, the injured victims, aged 75 and 51, are in stable condition and out of danger.

Police said the Hate Crimes Unit is also investigating the incident to determine the circumstances and possible motive behind the attack.

According to the gurdwara administration, the attacker first assaulted a religious leader and then attacked an elderly volunteer.

The incident has raised concerns among the local Sikh community, while authorities continue to investigate the attack and assess whether it was motivated by hate or religious bias.
