Terrorists in Balochistan Will Not Be Spared: Field Marshall

QUETTA: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has commended the Pakistan Army personnel for their effective response to recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, asserting that no terrorist or their facilitators will be spared and strict action will be taken.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Munir visited Quetta today, where he received a detailed briefing on the province’s overall security situation and ongoing internal security operations. The briefing highlighted recent attacks by the internationally-designated terrorist organization Fitna-e-Hindustan, which operates with alleged support from India, and the timely and effective countermeasures taken by security forces.

The Field Marshal was informed that these measures successfully foiled the terrorists’ plans to disrupt peace, stability, and development in Balochistan. Discussions also focused on strengthening state authority and ensuring the safety of citizens and critical infrastructure.

Field Marshal Munir emphasized that all terrorists and their supporters will face strict legal action and that no justification can legitimize violence or terrorism. He praised the professionalism, bravery, and sacrifices of law enforcement personnel, acknowledging their role in thwarting anti-state plots and maintaining law and order.

Later, accompanied by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, he visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta, where he met with injured personnel from the Army, Frontier Corps, and Police, appreciating their courage and steadfastness in defending the country.
