Terrorists kill 11 miners after abducting them in Machh, Balochistan

Terrorists in Machh area of ​​Balochistan shot dead 11 miners after abducting them. The Prime Minister termed the incident as a cowardly act of inhumanity and said that the affected families would not be left alone.

Between Saturday and Sunday night in Gushtari area of ​​Machh Tehsil in Bolan District of Balochistan, unidentified persons abducted coal miners and took them to the mountains and then shot them to death, while, the gunmen later fled.

Sources said that as soon as the incident was reported, teams of police, administration and security forces reached the spot. At least 11 miners have been killed in the incident. The bodies have been shifted to Machh Government Hospital.

According to Deputy Commissioner Bolan Murad Kasi, four persons were also injured in the incident who are undergoing treatment. Ambulances have left Quetta to retrieve the bodies of the miners from Machh.

In a statement released on the social networking site, the Prime Minister condemned the senseless killing of 11 innocent miners and termed the incident as inhumane cowardly terrorism. He directed the FC to use all available resources to arrest the killers and bring them to justice. The Prime Minister has said that the government will not leave the affected families alone.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal condemned terrorism in Machh and expressed regret over the loss of life. He said that the accused would be brought to justice soon and the siege against terrorists would be further tightened. A new wave of violence and unrest has erupted in Balochistan. A few days ago, 7 security personnel were martyred in Awaran.
