RAWALPINDI: The third and last Test match between Pakistan and England started at the Rawalpindi cricket ground on Thursday.
The captain of England won the toss and decided to bat first, putting the host into bowling.
This is the decisive match in the three-match Test series between Pakistan and England. In the first match played in Multan, England outclassed Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs. In the second match, Pakistan defeated England by 152 runs.
Meanwhile, Pakistan made no changes in the team for the final Test match against England in Rawalpindi.
On the other hand, tight security measures have been taken for the match and movement of the teams between the stadium and their hotel in Islamabad. Roads near the stadium are closed and traffic diverted to alternative roads.
The police in Rawalpindi earlier said that over 40,000 personnel would be deployed to ensure foolproof security and regulate traffic on alternative roads.
