The operation was conducted in the Badrang area of Awaran district, where security forces targeted terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan, the sources said.
Three terrorists were killed during the operation, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from their possession.
Security sources said continued and effective operations against terrorists in different parts of Balochistan had inflicted significant losses on the group.
The security forces remain committed to continuing operations across the province until terrorism is eliminated and law and order is fully restored, the sources added.
