Three TikTokers Arrested for Offensive Video Against Punjab CM

FAISALABAD: In a crackdown on cyber misconduct, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested three TikTok content creators in Faisalabad for uploading and sharing a video containing derogatory remarks against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

According to an NCCIA spokesperson, the arrested individuals were identified as Ahd Abbas, Badr Zaman, and Qasim Ali, residents of Chak 37 SB in Sargodha.

The trio had allegedly uploaded a TikTok video in which they made offensive statements and hurled baseless allegations against the Punjab Chief Minister.

Officials stated that the suspects were traced to the General Bus Stand in Faisalabad, where a raid was carried out following a tip-off. The operation, led by Sub-Inspector Amir Sultan of NCCIA, resulted in the immediate arrest of all three men.

The suspects have been booked under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) along with three additional sections of the law. Authorities confirmed that a detailed investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of their activities.
