Trader robbed of Rs50 million in Hyderabad

Armed man also took away the trader's car, say police.

HYDERABAD: Armed men looted 50 million rupees from a trader here on Wednesday, the local police said.

They said that the trader, whose name was not disclosed by the police, reported to the police that three persons signalled him to stop when he was going home after withdraw in ng the cash from a bank, and started searching the car. 

The three persons identified themselves as officials of the Federal Investigation Agency. After boarding the car, they snatched the bag containing the cash. 

The armed men then forced him out of the car and drove it away too.

The police have registered a case against unknown persons and started an investigation through the help of CCTV footage.
