The trailer for the Bollywood action film “Dhundhar: The Revenge”, based on gang wars in Karachi’s Lyari area, has been released, marking the much-anticipated return of actor Ranveer Singh.
Directed, written, and produced by Aditya Dhar, the film will release in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr.
Fans had eagerly awaited the trailer following the massive success of the first “Dhundhar” installment, which was praised for its thrilling action sequences worldwide.
The 25-second trailer opens with Ajay Sanial (played by Ar Madhon) being threatened by terrorists. As he attempts to insult the nation, Ranveer Singh appears as Hamza Ali Mazari, eliminating the terrorists in a single strike.
Following the killing of gangster Rahman Daku, Hamza Ali Mazari wreaks havoc in the streets of Lyari, raising the question: who will become the new leader of Lyari?
The producers revealed that, unlike the first film, the sequel will expand beyond the gang and espionage storyline, exploring the personal lives of unknown characters. Additionally, Ranveer Singh will portray two distinct roles in this installment.
