ISLAMABAD: Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan (TTAP) has finalized its plan for a public outreach campaign from Islamabad to Lahore via the Grand Trunk (GT) Road.

According to sources, the convoy will depart from Islamabad and travel through the GT Road, where it will receive receptions at four locations: Gujrat, Gujranwala, Shahdara, and upon entry into Lahore. As part of the outreach drive, the movement will also visit the Punjab Assembly.

Sources further said that TTAP leaders will pay visits to Minar-e-Pakistan and the shrine of Data Darbar. The movement is expected to stay in Lahore for three days, during which its leaders will address various public gatherings and events. The final date of the campaign will be announced in a meeting scheduled for today.

It is worth noting that Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan has declined to participate in the National Conference convened by the National Negotiation Committee.

The committee had contacted TTAP and invited it to attend the proposed conference; however, the movement refused to take part.
