RIYADH: Two Pakistani nationals have been arrested in Riyadh for assaulting a fellow Pakistani woman.
According to reports, a video of the assault was recorded and shared on social media, which prompted authorities in the Saudi capital to take swift action. As a result, the the two men who assaulted the woman were arrested.
The person who filmed the video and shared it on social media was also taken into custody.
Saudi Arabia has a strict zero-tolerance policy for such crimes, and the suspects are expected to face legal action under local law.
