KARACHI: Giving a substantial boost to the PPP ahead of the general elections, two MQM and Pak Sarzameen Party leaders announced their decisions to join the PPP after meeting Asif Ali Zardari here on Friday.
Raza Haroon and Anees Advocate said they have decided to join the PPP along with supporters.In a post on X, the PPP said that both the MQM leaders were welcomed into the party. It said the party would be working for the betterment of Karachi and its people.
It quoted Zardari as saying that the PPP would come to power in the federal as well province and would be working with more zeal and zest for the welfare of the people.
