KHARIAN: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two travel agents in Kharian who were involved in scamming 76 individuals by offering them fake Umrah packages and swindling millions of rupees.
The two accused, Shahid and Javed, operating from the Dinga area of Kharian, had promised the victims an opportunity to perform Umrah but instead took large sums of money without delivering any services.
After the victims lodged complaints with the FIA, authorities conducted a raid and apprehended both suspects.
According to FIA sources, a thorough investigation will be carried out, and appropriate legal action will be taken in accordance with the law. The authorities are determined to hold the culprits accountable for their fraudulent activities and ensure justice for the affected individuals.
