ISLAMABAD: The government of the United Arab Emirates has set a new condition for Pakistanis going to the Emirates for employment.
The Pakistan Overseas Employment Association on Wednesday said that from now onwards Pakistanis would need to submit a character certificate issued by police to the UAE authorities seeking work visa in the Emirates.
According to reports, the government of UAE has already imposed restrictions on the issuance of work visa to natives of 30 cities or districts in Pakistan. These restrictions were imposed on complaints against workers belonging to these areas.
