UK Says Pakistan Extradition Requests Will Follow Due Process

LONDON: The United Kingdom has stated that the matter of extraditing individuals wanted by Pakistan is being handled strictly in accordance with the law.

Speaking to the media, UK Under Secretary of State for the Middle East Hamish Falconer said that Britain had already received evidence from Pakistan in this regard. He stated that any decision on extradition will be made only after impartial police investigations are completed.

Falconer noted that Pakistan and the United Kingdom share close relations and an important partnership. He also expressed his personal connection with Pakistan, saying that he has a special attachment to the country and that his diplomatic career began in Pakistan.

The statement comes amid ongoing discussions between the two countries over the extradition of individuals wanted by Pakistani authorities, including some YouTubers allegedly involved in negative propaganda against state institutions.
