PESHAWAR: A prominent urologist, Professor Dr. Asif Malik, was injured in a shooting incident near his residence in Peshawar.
According to police, Dr. Malik was targeted on Town Circular Road, where gunmen opened fire on his vehicle.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have confirmed that the assailants fled the scene, and a search operation is ongoing to apprehend them.
Authorities are investigating the incident, but no further details about the motive have been released yet.
