ISLAMABAD: The United States has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan province targeting security personnel and civilians, and reaffirmed its solidarity with the Pakistani people.
In a statement, US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker denounced the violence and expressed deep sympathy for the victims, their families, and all those affected.
She noted that responsibility for the attacks was claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which the United States has designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
“Pakistanis deserve to live free from violence and fear,” Baker said, emphasizing Washington’s support for Pakistan’s efforts to ensure peace and stability.
She stated that the United States remains a strong and steadfast partner of Pakistan in combating terrorism and stands with the country during this difficult time.
