FLORIDA: In a nail-biting finish, West Indies defeated Pakistan by two wickets in the second T20I of the three-match series, leveling the series 1-1.

The match was held early this morning (Pakistan time) in Florida.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a modest target of 134 runs for the West Indies. Hasan Nawaz top-scored for Pakistan with 40 runs, while captain Salman Ali Agha contributed 38, and Fakhar Zaman added 20.

West Indies’ bowling attack was led by Jason Holder, who delivered a match-defining performance with 4 wickets for just 19 runs. Gudakesh Motie also impressed, picking up 2 wickets for 39 runs.

In response, West Indies chased down the 134-run target on the final ball of the match. Gudakesh Motie played a crucial role with the bat as well, remaining unbeaten on 28 runs. Captain Shai Hope added 21 runs, while Roston Chase and Jason Holder each scored 16.

The closely contested encounter means the three-match series is now tied at 1-1, setting the stage for an exciting series decider.
