Won’t allow anyone to become PM fourth time: Bilawal

PPP chairman comes down hard on PML-N chief in his public gathering at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh.

RAWALPINDI: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Sunday came down hard on former prime minister and PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and said his plan to become the prime minister for the fourth time would never materialize.

Addressing a public gathering at Rawalpindi’s historic Liaquat Bagh, Bilawal said,”Actual source of power are the masses who will foil the design of those who want to become the prime minister for the fourth time.”

He said that today he was addressing the masses in the city where PPP founder and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhuto was martyred where Shaheed Benazir Bhutto made her last public speech before being assassinated.

Bilawal said that the country was facing crises; there is an economic crisis, democracy is in a crisis; had defeated terrorists but they are raising their head again. In such a situation, only the PPP can save the country. He said his party would fight terrorists without differentiating them as good and bad Taliban.

He asked the voters to use their votes considering the interests of the country. He also said that the founder of the PTI has been removed from the election scene and at present all its office-bearers are planted.

He said that snatching of the election symbol of ‘Bat’ from the PTI was a result of the blunder of the party and its leaders. Now the founder of the PTI is nowhere go become the prime minister.
