ISLAMABAD: president Asif Ali Zardari has said that the international community should act now to save the people of Palestine from being exterminated by Israel.

In his message on the Palestinian solidarity day the president said that the international community had been as silent respected to the massacre of a Palestinian at the hands of Israel.

Reiterating Pakistan’s and unwavering support to the people of Palestine, President Zardari said that Pakistan always supported an independence state of Palestine with its pre-1967 border.

He said that the international community can no longer ignore the situation in Gaza and the Israeli brutalities on the people of Palestine.

Since October last year Israel has continue the war on the people of Palestine and killed over 44000 people including women and children and caused destruction and mayhem in the Gaza strip.

He said that repeated calls from the international community including the United Nations and the International Court have fallen on deaf years and Israel not only continued the war in Gaza but also extended it into Lebanon and killed thousands of people there as well.
